GREENSBORO, GA – On December 29, 2023, Mary Jim Chapman of Greensboro, GA retired from BankSouth after more than 21 years of service. The Board of Directors, Executive leadership and fellow employees wish to pay tribute to and express appreciation to Mary Jim for her leadership, service, and devotion to the company.

As a Banking Officer and Personal Banker, Mary Jim made numerous contributions over her twenty-one plus years to the growth and profit of BankSouth. She has greatly contributed to the financial well-being of BankSouth’s customers and career development of BankSouth’s employees in a manner consistent with the mission of BankSouth to provide quality banking and financial services to our market area.

Mary Jim’s unwavering dedication and exceptional service over the past 21 years have left a solid mark on BankSouth and its customers.
