BankSouth Announces Atlanta Market Promotions for Phil Cleaveland and Aubrey Hannon

Atlanta, GA – BankSouth is pleased to announce the promotions of Phil Cleaveland to Senior Vice President, Atlanta Market Leader and Aubrey Hannon to Vice President, Relationship Manager. Both Phil and Aubrey bring extensive banking experience and established relationships throughout Atlanta to their new roles as BankSouth continues serving the financial needs of individuals, families and businesses across the market.

Phil Cleaveland Promoted to Senior Vice President and Atlanta Market Leader

Phil joined BankSouth in 2023 and brings more than 20 years of banking experience to his new role as Senior Vice President and Atlanta Market Leader. He will lead BankSouth’s team of experienced bankers serving consumer and commercial customers throughout the metro Atlanta area.

A graduate of Furman University, Cleaveland serves on the Small Business Credit Review Committee for Invest Atlanta and is a graduate of the North Fulton Leadership program. He is also continuing his professional development through the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.

Aubrey Hannon Promoted to Vice President and Relationship Manager

Aubrey joined BankSouth in 2022 and brings more than 15 years of banking experience to his role as Vice President and Relationship Manager. Throughout his career, he has held positions including Small Business Banker, Branch Manager and Commercial Banking Relationship Manager, providing him with extensive experience serving individuals and businesses across a variety of financial needs.

A graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Hannon works closely with customers throughout metro Atlanta, helping them navigate banking and lending decisions and build long-term financial relationships.
