BankSouth Welcomes Mark McRae as Relationship Manager in Savannah

SAVANNAH, GA – BankSouth is pleased to announce the addition of Mark McRae as Relationship Manager at its Savannah branch. With more than 34 years of commercial banking experience, McRae brings deep market knowledge, proven leadership, and a strong commitment to serving the Savannah business community. 

McRae most recently served as a Commercial Lending Executive at First Federal Bank in Savannah. His career also includes senior leadership roles as a Commercial Market Senior Vice President at Bank OZK and Market Credit Senior Vice President at First Chatham Bank. Throughout his career, McRae has built a reputation for partnering with local businesses, managing complex commercial relationships, and delivering thoughtful, relationship-driven financial solutions. 

A graduate of Clemson University, McRae earned a Bachelor of Science in Management with a concentration in Marketing. As a longtime Savannah banking professional, he looks forward to continuing to support businesses while helping BankSouth clients grow and succeed.
