Laura Moore

With over 25 years of experience in the banking industry, Laura Moore currently serves as the Savannah Market City President for BankSouth. Laura assumed this position in 2015 when BankSouth reopened in Savannah. As Savannah’s Market President, Laura leads her team of bankers and lenders in nurturing client relationships and providing financial services to serve the banking and lending needs of the families and small business community in Savannah. 

Prior to joining BankSouth, Laura served as a commercial lender and business development officer for both national and local banks in the Savannah and Atlanta area. She attended the University of Georgia and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in International Business. During her career in the banking industry, Laura has graduated from management training programs, as well as Leadership Savannah and Leadership Georgia, where she acquired personal and professional development while exploring the needs and resources and in Savannah and the state of Georgia.

Laura enjoys being active in her local Savannah community serving on various boards that include Past Chairman of the World Trade Center Board, Treasurer of the Park Place Outreach, Inc Board, a member of the Savannah Chamber of Commerce Foundation Board, and former Treasurer for Educate Chatham Foundation.
