Mark McRae brings more than 30 years of commercial banking and business lending experience to BankSouth, serving clients throughout Savannah and surrounding communities as a Relationship Manager. With a deep understanding of the local market and the challenges facing business owners, Mark partners closely with clients to deliver practical guidance, tailored lending solutions, and long-term banking relationships aligned with their financial goals.

Prior to joining BankSouth, Mark served as a Commercial Lending Executive at First Federal Bank in Savannah. His career also includes senior leadership roles as Commercial Market Senior Vice President at Bank OZK and Market Credit Senior Vice President at First Chatham Bank. Throughout his career, Mark has earned a strong reputation for helping Savannah businesses navigate complex financial decisions, manage growth, and secure financing that supports both today’s needs and future opportunities.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Management with a concentration in Marketing from Clemson University. As a longtime Savannah professional, he is passionate about supporting the local business community and believes strong relationships, trusted advice, and responsive service are the foundation of successful banking partnerships.
