BankSouth Welcomes Mason Banks as Jr. Relationship Manager

ATHENS, GA – BankSouth is pleased to announce that Mason Banks has rejoined the Watkinsville team as a Jr. Relationship Manager, serving clients throughout the Watkinsville and Athens area.

In his new role, Banks will work directly with clients to understand their financial needs and provide practical, personalized lending solutions. He brings a strong foundation in banking, having previously spent two years with BankSouth as a teller while also completing a Loan Servicing internship. Prior to returning to BankSouth, he gained additional experience as a Credit Analyst and Underwriter, deepening his understanding of the lending process.

Banks is a 2024 graduate of the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business, where he earned a degree in Finance. He has called the Athens area home for the past five years.

Outside of work, Banks stays active through running and weightlifting and is involved at Prince Avenue Baptist Church, where he serves in the high school ministry.
