GREENSBORO – BankSouth’s Relationship Manager, AVP, Victoria Morris has completed her second year at the Georgia Banking School offered by the Georgia Bankers Association. The Georgia Banking School is a three-year specialized school course preparing those in bank leadership roles to effectively and profitably serve their communities by developing a thorough understanding of banking practices, regulations and management principles.
“For 58 years this school has been a highly effective resource for developing the leadership talents of Georgia bankers with graduates commonly going on to become senior executives and bank CEOs as their careers grow,” said Darron Burnette, Georgia Banking School Director.
During the three-year program, participants complete an annual one-week residence session at the University of Georgia in Athens as well as home study problems between sessions. The school provides a well-balanced curriculum featuring UGA faculty members, veteran bankers and other industry experts and specialists.
“We are excited for Victoria’s success in this reputable program and are eager to support her as she begins her final year,” said Karen Watson, BankSouth Market President. “The tools and skills she develops at the Georgia Banking School directly impacts the ideal banking experience BankSouth works to provide our customers each and every day.”
