ATLANTA, GA (For Immediate Release) – BankSouth is pleased to announce the appointment of Phil Cleaveland as Relationship Manager for the Atlanta market. In this role, Phil will be serving as a dedicated financial partner providing tailored lending solutions to businesses, and furthering BankSouth’s commitment to exceptional customer service in the Atlanta community.

Phil brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new position. He is well prepared to hit the ground running and assist customers in achieving their financial goals, drawing from his over 10 years of banking experience. Prior to BankSouth, Phil served as a Commercial Lender for both Center State Bank and Synovus. His dedication and understanding of each business’s unique situation and commitment to building strong relationships fit perfectly with BankSouth’s core values.

Phil earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Furman University, and has been a resident in the Atlanta area for over 15 years. Phil is also affiliated with the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce, Tech 400 Banking and Investment Committee, and GNFCC Leadership graduate.
