It’s that easy! How does going paperless help our environment? According to the Paper Recycling Coalition, when paper is not recycled, 80% of it ends up in landfills. The decomposition of paper in landfills produces methane, a greenhouse gas with 21 times the heat-trapping power of carbon dioxide. In addition, by cutting down trees to produce paper, we remove a natural process to absorb carbon from the air and reduce the impact of industrial carbon dioxide emissions. You can do your part to help reduce these impacts to Earth starting with one small act – go paperless! Happy Earth Day!
