GREENSBORO, GA – On December 31, 2023, after more than two decades of service and exceptional leadership, BankSouth announced the retirement of Tracy Hayden, Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer, effective January 1, 2024.
Tracy Hayden’s illustrious career at BankSouth has been marked by outstanding contributions to the institution’s growth and success. As Chief Credit Officer, Tracy played a pivotal role in steering BankSouth’s trajectory from a $200 million bank to a financial institution with over $1 billion in assets.
Throughout her tenure, Tracy fearlessly embraced challenges, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to the bank’s prosperity. Her leadership style, coupled with a profound understanding of credit management, has certainly left a mark on BankSouth’s journey to success.
The Board of Directors, Executive team, and fellow employees extend their heartfelt gratitude to Tracy for her tireless dedication and commendable service. Tracy’s ability to navigate relationships with regulators and auditors showcased her as a key figure in ensuring the bank’s compliance and adherence to industry standards.
Hayden, a graduate of the College of William and Mary with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and a concentration in Finance, has not only excelled in the financial realm but also demonstrated her skills on the tennis court during her college years. While her passion for tennis has evolved into a love for pickleball, Tracy now looks forward to spending more time on the pickleball courts, rekindling her golf game, and cherishing moments with her family, especially her two granddaughters.
