GREENSBORO, GA – BankSouth congratulates Cody Dalrymple, VP Internal Auditor, on his recent graduation from Georgia Banking School. The graduation ceremony took place on May 2 at the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education and Hotel in Athens, Ga.
Established in 1961 and administered by the Georgia Bankers Association, the Georgia Banking School is a rigorous three-year program designed to equip rising banking professionals with the advanced knowledge and leadership skills necessary to thrive in the financial industry.
Throughout the program, Cody completed three annual one-week residence sessions in Athens, along with comprehensive home study assignments between sessions. The curriculum – led by UGA faculty, experienced bankers, and financial industry experts – covered key topics including banking operations and support, regulatory compliance, and strategic leadership.
“I am excited and honored to complete Georgia Banking School at UGA in Athens, GA. This 3-year program provides a deepened understanding of all areas of the bank and creates a great networking opportunity for all bankers. I extend my sincere gratitude to the Georgia Bankers Association, UGA faculty, and the BankSouth leadership team for facilitating this exceptional experience.”
Cody joins a group of 50 Georgia bankers who completed the program this year. His achievement reflects BankSouth’s ongoing commitment to professional development and its dedication to fostering leadership that drives both individual growth and community impact.
