Get BankSouth Mobile App Notifications

Turn on notifications and location services and get notified about deals, discounts, events and more in the BankSouth app.

This will be your first prompt!

You’ll receive this message when logging into the BankSouth app. Be sure to select Yes, Give Me Access when prompted. Then, follow the below steps for your device and you’re all set to receive exclusive messages from us about local deals, discounts and events.

For iPhone Users

To turn on mobile app notifications and location based services, follow the below steps:

If you initially selected “No, not right now” in the prompt above, in the BankSouth App:

  1. Select More
  2. Click the Settings gear icon
  3. Select Push Notifications
  4. Toggle Interact Messages on

Start here if your Interact Messages have already been turned on in the BankSouth app:

For Notifications:

  1. Open your iPhone’s Settings app
  2. Select Notifications
  3. Select the BankSouth app
  4. Toggle Allow Notifications on

For Location Services

  1. Open your iPhone’s Settings app
  2. Select Privacy
  3. Select the BankSouth app
  4. Click Always

For Android Users

To turn on mobile app notifications and location based services, follow the below steps:

If you initially selected “No, not right now” in the prompt above, in the BankSouth App:

  1. Select More
  2. Click the Settings gear icon
  3. Select Push Notifications
  4. Toggle Interact Messages on

Start here if your Interact Messages have already been turned on in the BankSouth app:

For Notifications:

  1. Open your Android’s Settings app
  2. Select See All under Recently Sent App Notifications
  3. Change filter from Most Recent to All
  4. Select the BankSouth app
  5. Toggle Show Notifications on

For Location Services

  1. Open your Android’s Settings app
  2. Select Biometrics and security
  3. Select App permissions
  4. Click Location
  5. Toggle the BankSouth app on
