ELLABELL, GA – BankSouth hosted a grand opening celebration on January 22, 2026, marking the official launch of its new on-site banking branch plus ATMs located inside the Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) facility in Ellabell, GA. While the branch began serving HMGMA team members, known as Meta Pros, on January 5, the January 22 event served as a public celebration of this new bank at work partnership.
Designed exclusively for Meta Pros, the on-site branch delivers convenient, relationship-based banking services directly to the workplace. Meta Pros have access to multiple ATMs, can open accounts, complete everyday transactions, apply for personal loans and mortgages, and receive one-on-one financial support in a private, secure setting without leaving the facility.

The grand opening event included a ribbon cutting ceremony, remarks from BankSouth and HMGMA leadership, and refreshments, celebrating the shared commitment of both organizations to employee support, convenience, and financial empowerment.

The HMGMA on-site branch is part of the broader BankSouth@Work initiative, which focuses on delivering financial solutions, educational resources, and local relationship-based service to employees at partner organizations. Located inside the HMGMA facility, the branch is dedicated exclusively to Meta Pros and is not open to the general public.
