Mason Banks

Mason Banks is a Jr. Relationship Manager at BankSouth, working with clients throughout the Athens and Oconee County area. He enjoys getting to know the people he works with and helping them find practical solutions that fit their financial needs.

Mason graduated from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business in 2024 with a degree in Finance and has been in the Athens area for the past five years. He began his career with BankSouth, where he spent two years working as a teller and also completed a Loan Servicing internship. Prior to returning to BankSouth in his current role, Mason gained additional experience as a credit analyst and underwriter, further developing his understanding of the lending process.

Outside of work, Mason spends a lot of time staying active, whether that’s running, lifting weights, or enjoying being outdoors. He is also involved at Prince Avenue Baptist Church, where he serves in the high school ministry.

As he continues to grow in his role, Mason looks forward to becoming more involved in the local community and finding ways to give back. He enjoys being part of a community-focused bank and is always glad to connect, whether you’re an existing client or just stopping by for the first time.
