We appreciate the feedback from our customers as we enter a new phase of life in our community with the COVID-19 pandemic as a reality. On April 20th, Governor Kemp issued an updated set of guidelines to safely reopen the economy in Georgia while protecting the safety of its citizens. Since early March, our branch lobbies had been available by appointment, our drive-through services and walk-up windows were made available and expanded in some cases and we practiced sanitizing procedures routinely on all contact surfaces.
Last week, we sent a survey to all of our customers to gather input on whether we should fully open our lobbies, partially open them or remain in a "by appointment" status. As of May 20, we have received 1,145 responses, which have helped inform our decision to open our branches while exercising strict social distancing practices, cleaning and sanitizing our workplace surface areas and ensuring our employees wear masks.
