Interest rates for mortgages can vary significantly from one borrower to the next based on the specific details of the transaction. Some of the main factors that affect the interest rate are credit score, down payment or loan-to-value, the type of mortgage, and how long the interest rate is locked.
The information below depicts average rates on a national level. These rates are not specific to BankSouth Mortgage but are provided to give a general idea of where rates are nationally for different loan types. This information is calculated from actual locked rates with customers across 35% of all mortgage transactions nationwide.

No adjustments to the rates that account for buy-up or buy-down decisions made by individuals are performed. These indices leverage data from Optimal Blue PPE lock requests (approximately 35% of all locks nationwide) aggregated daily and updated nightly with the previous day’s locks. Weekends and holidays are excluded. All applicable product types are included unless otherwise specified. Paige and the team at BankSouth were amazing! Super helpful, very clear instructions, always responsive and great technology underlying the process that made it very smooth - even for us coming from out of state and with a super short closing cycle! Absolutely wonderful experience and I highly recommend Paige and the BankSouth team!

Paige and her team did an excellent job helping me purchase an out-of-state investment property. She's highly knowledgeable and she clearly explains the whole process from start to finish. She is available all the time - after hours and on weekends - to tackle anything that comes up. I definitely recommend and will use again.

Paige and Ben are simply amazing!We are first time homebuyers and did not know what we did not know. That is all we had to tell Paige and she did the rest. Educated us to the fullest. We asked, she answered. Not just between the hours of 9-5 either. First time I talked to her was at 930pm! We exchanged several phone calls and/or text messages after 10 a few times.First time or experienced homebuyers should not hesitate to call upon Paige!

Paige was incredible. She was very on top of things and made everything very simple and easy for us. She was also extremely knowledgeable, which was great for first-time homebuyers that haven't encountered some of the things that come up in the home buying process.

Paige was a pleasure to work with. She worked quickly and helped us get the best rate possible. Paige was extremely patient with my husband and I and explained everything as many times as we needed her to. She's extremely knowledgable and wants the best for her clients. She made the mortgage process smooth and less scary. We'd recommend her to anyone!

After working with Paige for two houses now, I can honestly say she makes the entire process as seamless as can be. She is always available to answer any questions and eager to make it as stress free as possible. She also fought hard to get us a fantastic rate. We will definitely use Paige should we buy in the future and highly recommend her to anyone needing a loan!

Paige was an absolute pleasure to work with! She was able to answer all questions and concerns and was even able to help us close on our house a week earlier so we could be in our new home before Christmas! I highly recommend Paige to anyone looking for a lender!!
