Carol Schretter hails from Southfield, Michigan. Carol moved to Savannah in 1984 shortly after she served in the United States Marine Corps as a sergeant in the Signals Intelligence division in Japan for the NSGA.from 1977-1981.
She has worked in the real estate industry in Savannah for 33 years. Carol’s focus is to find the best loan program to fit a borrower’s short and long term plans. She works with all types of borrowers including VA, FHA, and USDA purchasers, move-up and retirement home buyers, and with construction-to-permanent loan borrowers. Carol has experience helping borrowers take advantage of down payment assistance programs through Georgia Dream and City of Savannah Dreammaker. She communicates throughout the process of the loan and works to make home buying as stress free as possible.
Carol is married; has one daughter, a Flat Coat Retriever and a rescued cat of unknown pedigree. Carol supports several charities in Savannah including Save-A-Life, Inc., an animal welfare organization, and Safe Shelter of Savannah. She enjoys tennis, volleyball, and jogging.
