Bonnye Williams grew up in a New Hampshire on a commercial farm: rose greenhouses and apple orchards. In the 1980s, she became a real estate broker and developer in New Hampshire after earning her bachelor’s degree in business and real estate development at University of Denver.
Soon, the avid outdoorswoman traded the Atlantic coastline for the Rocky Mountains and operated a successful mortgage business in Steamboat Colorado for nearly 16 years before relocating the company to suburban Fort Worth, Texas for 12 years. Five years ago, she made her home in the Smoky Mountains on Lake Chatuge once again continuing to help first homeowners, second homeowners to retirees.
Through it all, she became a home finance expert on everything from mountain resorts to starter homes and condominiums to horse ranches – in good times and bad. In 2009, after almost 30 years, she tired of watching clients struggle with the same old challenges and wrote Conquering the American Dream.
She has always lived in rural areas and is an expert from USDA, VA, FHA, Conventional, Jumbo, and Construction lending. She surrounds herself with a great team of Underwriters and Realtors who strive to understand each customer’s needs.
Since moving to the area, Bonnye has received multiple MBAG Gold Awards. She works alongside of her daughter and as a team continue to help all future or current homeowners.
