Victoria Morris has served as Vice President, Relationship Manager with BankSouth for more than 3 years at BankSouth’s Lake Oconee branch in Greensboro, Georgia. As a lender, Victoria provides financing solutions for lot purchases, new construction and commercial real estate in the Lake Oconee area, including her own community of Madison, Georgia.
When working with Victoria and her team, her customers can be confident that they are up-to-date on the various moving parts of the loan process and remain on track for deadlines. The most rewarding part of Victoria’s job as a consumer real-estate lender is exceeding the expectations of families who are building their dream home and watching it become a reality. Moreover, getting to know her customers and their story and earning their trust as a banking resource is what Victoria’s customers appreciate most about their relationship with her.
Before becoming a loan officer, Victoria began her career as a bank teller at the age of 18. Her early experience in the banking industry, combined with her own personal experience in buying a home, led her to become a loan officer. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in consumer economics. Victoria is also currently enrolled in the Georgia Banking School at the University of Georgia, where she will earn a diploma for completing the 3-year program in Spring 2021.
In Victoria’s free time, she loves to travel, explore new places. She is involved in her local church where she serves on the finance team as well as the Connect Team Coordinator – a division of her church that is geared towards better connecting with their community. Victoria is also a graduate of Morgan County Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Morgan program, in which she received personal and professional development while exploring the current issues, resources and needs in her local community.
