Pay a Bill in 3 Steps

Step 1

Add Biller

Log in or sign up to online banking and go to Payments and Transfers. Select Pay a Bill/Send Money and search for or add your payee on the Pay a Bill tab. In the mobile app, select Pay Bills and follow the same steps.

Step 2

Enter Your Account Information

Next, enter your account number as it appears on your bill. If you can’t find your payee in our database, you’ll need to add additional information such as your bill payee’s mailing address. Be sure to include the mailing address where your biller accepts payments.

Step 3

Pay

Select your biller, enter your payment information, including the BankSouth checking account you’d like to use to pay your bill, the payment amount, and the date you’d like your payment to be sent and delivered. Then select Pay. If you’d like to make your payment recurring, be sure to select recurring!
